Linked Orders

For customers who have multiple orders outstanding and due for delivery, Fortuna Dynamics will flag these up to the delivery planner and sales person.

Back to Back Orders

Fortuna Dynamics provides three choices for fulfilment of the customer’s order: ex-stock, allocation to incoming purchase order, or raising of back-to-back purchase order aka ‘special order’.

Multiple Locations/Bins

Unlimited number of stock Locations can be set up, and sub-divided into zones and bins.

Goods In and Order Tracking

Full item tracking linked to sales order/customer, from the raising of an original purchase order to goods in to warehouse movements. At any point in time, the user can see the current location/bin of all items on the sales order.

Bin Contents Enquiry

Enquiries are available for warehouse staff to find stock very quickly, and to see allocations of product to customer orders.

Barcode Scanning

Stock Movement and Counting can be done using mobile barcode scanners.

Barcode labels

Barcode labels can be printed for PO’s due in, Transfers, or for Stock Items already in the warehouse.

Stock Order Review

Quick way to assess reorder requirements for stocked smaller items.

Van Route Planning

This function allows the Scheduling of regular and other routes. Scheduling can include internal transfers and returns/replacements. Van /date load value can be seen. Colour-coded screen enables planner to see issues highlighted (e.g. red shows scheduled not yet paid orders, purple means paid not yet scheduled).

Van Loading

Capacity planning of vans, based on max no. of drops, and max no. of seats, plus for carpets: max square rolls and max no. of fittings (halls/stairs/landings – HSL). The planner can also override and create temporary routes.

Colour-coded screen shows a list of all van routes/dates in the forward plan (e.g. blue shows space available, black means full load).

Post Code Mapping Lookup

Dynamics Internet link to Google Maps for use in scheduling delivery routes, based on Post Code.

Good-to-Go Enquiries

Instant checking of stock availability, linked to incoming purchases, enabling the user to determine which orders can be fulfilled with current stock.

Payment Status

Instant checking of payment position, enabling the user to determine which orders can be released for despatch.

Picking

Options for Picking by Bin and/or by Van Route/Date. Printed Pick Lists and optional Pick Confirmation.

Delivery Notes

Delivery Notes can be printed in advance, to assist with van scheduling (e.g. referring to delivery instructions).

POD

Switchable option for invoicing on Proof of Delivery (recorded on receipt of signed POD) or Proof of Despatch (recorded as shipped ex warehouse).

Collection or Third-party

Customer collection of goods, or third-party delivery using external carriers, can be accommodated. The Van Route Planning screen can show a list of collections due etc.

Deposits

Automatic calculation of deposits on sales orders, within tolerances. Automated uplift into ledgers, with till reconciliation.

VAT Handling options

VAT can be claimed either at point of invoice, or on deposit/balance payment as a switchable setting. VAT Returns are provided as standard.

Intrastat

Fortuna Dynamics provides the calculations for Intrastat, and we have pre-built a template for the coming year’s data.

Insurance Claims

Sales orders can be processed against an insurance claim. Details such as Insurance Claim Ref, Mandate Authorisation No., Excess Value, can be recorded.
